"No, it doesn't take a doctor, health official or "medical organization" to do the math.
What it takes is caring about every life - whether that life represents a baby, toddler, child, teenager, young adult, adult or senior citizen - because every life is important and
nobody deserves to be written off by a drug company or government agency
as an expendable casualty of public health policy."-Barbara Loe Fisher, NVIC

"How does a 1 year old get exposed to HepB? She didn't, she was injected with the vaccine, and contracted this Syndrome which has been directly linked as a side affect of the HepB vaccine." - Raechel, June's Mother
My name is Raechel and my daughters name is June Renee. When she was born, her father and I never really had a stance on vaccinations. I never took her to the Doctor, because she had never been sick. At 6 months old, I took her in for a small cough. Of course, the Doctor insisted on catching her up on vaccinations. For the the next 4 months, in 6 week intervals, she was "caught up" on her vaccinations. For Junes 1 year check-up she recieved 6 shots, including HepB. Before we got June home, she had a fever of 102+. June refused to walk and suffered from constant crying, stomach convulsions, and total loss of appeitite for 3 days.
At the end of the three days from Hell, June had caught a very bad cough and had several nose bleeds. After taking her back to see the Doctor, he had concluded that she had a throat Virus and it would presist for a week. Within two days of that visit, a weird bumpy rash had started to form all over her body, excluding her trunk (back and stomach). At first it was just bumps, the same color as her skin. 24 hours later they were red and full of puss. Her entire body was FULL of these bumps. I assumed they were chicken pox and took her to the Hospital. From the day she recieved her last series of vaccines to the day she was diagnosed, 29 days had passed. We saw 4 specialists, and had been admitted into the hospital 3 times and seen our regular Doctor and his partners 9 times. The Virus is still unknown, but they diagnosed the rash as Gianotti-Crosti Syndrome. A very rare disease/syndrome that is typically caused by HepB exposure. It is known to been seen days after immunizations.
How does a 1 year old get exposed to HepB? She didn't, she was injected with the vaccine, and contracted this Syndrome which has been directly linked as a side affect of the HepB vaccine. This conditon lasted 4 months. 16 weeks of no sun, 16 weeks of not taking my daughter out in public,16 weeks of no pictures, 16 weeks of barely holding my child because the massive rash on her skin was so sensitive to my oils. The scars on my now 2 year olds legs are very visable. I was contacted by the CDC and was informed that my 1 year old must of come in contact with HepB...but didn't contract it. I went 29 days without knowing what was wrong. 16 weeks of isolation, and my a lifetime of scars littering my daughters body which constantly reminds our family of a Syndrome that we know literally know nothing about. I hope that parents realize that there are total unforseen risks involved with vaccines. Not just fever, or crying...but a lifetime of scars.
